Place text watermarks on images — configure font size, color, opacity, position and rotation. Runs in your browser, no upload required.
In shortEmbed watermarks — text or logo at 9 positions, opacity control, locally in your browser.
A watermark is a visible mark on an image, usually serving two purposes: deterring unauthorized use and branding (recognizing the source). Classic cases: press photos before publication, stock-photo previews, e-commerce product shots, designer portfolio images, marketing material with logo.
This tool adds watermarks locally in your browser — as text (brand name, domain, copyright notice) or as an image overlay (logo, banner).
9-position grid.Pick from a 3×3 grid: top left, top center, top right; middle left, center, middle right; bottom left, bottom center, bottom right. The most common positions are "bottom right" (classically subtle) and "center" (for unmistakable anti-theft marking). Press photos often use "top right" or "center" so the watermark can't simply be cropped out.
Text watermarks.Pick the content freely (default: "© your-domain.com"). Choose font, size and color. White at 50% opacity on a dark image, or black at 50% on a light image, is the typical compromise between visibility and not ruining the photo.
Image watermarks.Upload a logo PNG with transparent background. The tool scales it to a sensible fraction of the image (default 15%) and positions it per the chosen grid cell. Opacity and margin from the edge are adjustable.
